Viruses reproduce inside living cells by utilizing the host's cellular machinery. They inject their genetic material into the host and hijack its metabolic processes to synthesize viral proteins and replicate their genomes. This cellular takeover leads to the assembly of new virus particles, which then exit the host to infect new cells.
