The last Emperor of China was Puyi, who reigned during the Qing Dynasty. Puyi became emperor as a child at the age of two but was quickly relegated to a figurehead due to political turmoil. In 1912, following the Xinhai Revolution, the Qing Dynasty collapsed, and Puyi was forced to abdicate. He lived in exile but was briefly restored to the throne in 1917. Later, he collaborated with Japanese forces during World War II, ruling as the puppet emperor of Manchukuo.
