Leonardo da Vinci's last painting is often considered to be "The Virgin of the Rocks." This masterpiece was created in two versions, one for the Confraternity of the Immaculate Conception in Milan and another now housed at the National Gallery in London. Although the artwork was completed in the 1480s, it represents da Vinci's final contributions to the genre of religious painting.
