The fruit known for having its seeds on the outside is the strawberry. Unlike most fruits that have seeds on the inside, strawberries have tiny yellow seeds that dot their exterior. This unique feature is due to the fact that what we commonly refer to as the “fruit” of the strawberry is technically an "aggregate accessory fruit," formed from the receptacle of the flower. Each of these tiny seeds, called achenes, is actually a separate fruit containing a seed. Strawberries are not only popular for their sweet flavor and vibrant color but also rich in vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants.
