The only chemical element that is liquid at room temperature is bromine (Br). It is a halogen and is found in group 17 of the periodic table. Bromine has a reddish-brown color and emits a strong, unpleasant odor. It exists as a diatomic molecule (Br2) and has a boiling point of around 59 °C (138 °F), which allows it to remain in liquid form at standard room temperatures.
