Bees use nectar to make honey. Nectar is a sugary liquid produced by flowers as a means to attract pollinators. When bees collect nectar, they store it in their honey stomachs and transport it back to the hive. Inside the hive, bees regurgitate the nectar and pass it to other worker bees, who further process it by chewing and evaporating moisture through rapid wing flapping. This process transforms the nectar into honey, which is stored in hexagonal beeswax cells.
